Join the Party

You are not required to sign up with a party in Alabama, therefore you are able to vote in either the Republican or the Democratic primary each election cycle.

You can join The Republican Club which is an informal, social group that meets on the 2nd Saturday of every month at 7:00 am for breakfast and 7:30 for the speaker at Mister Henry’s in Hartselle.

Each election cycle, we will set up a headquarters in Decatur usually in mid August through the November election and we always need help working at the headquarters and also helping the candidates campaign. During the summer months, we have booths at the Fair and local events such as Hartselle Depot Days and we always need volunteers for that.

You can also join The Executive Committee, which meets on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm at the headquarters in Decatur located at 116 – 14th Street SW, Suite E.

Membership fees are $100 per year. Dues may be paid quarterly, semi-annually or annually.

When we have a Party Headquarters, you may volunteer to work a shift to open the HQ’s, distribute candidate information to voters, and answer the phone. Please provide any other ideas or areas that you may be able to help.
